A very crusty original 1928 key date silver Peace dollar graded MS 61 by NGC. It holds an above average strike throughout both sides with very crusty toned surfaces throughout both the obverse and reverse. This key date coin has been in strong demand lately among collectors. This key date holds a fairly low mintage of 360,649. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 40,000 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 841 graded Mint State 61 by NGC.
