We believe it could have easily graded a touch higher from NGC. It has been housed in a newer style NGC prong holder. The 1922 No D, Strong Reverse, Lincoln Wheat Cent is one of the most popular variety coins ever produced for the Lincoln Wheat Cent series. It holds a mintage of 7,160,000. However, of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 15,000 have survived that are the No D variety! This coin is one of only 1,339 graded to be in 'Very Fine' condition by NGC.
