An attractive 1922 No D, Strong Reverse, Lincoln wheat cent graded F 12 by PCGS. It carries excellent details for the grade and has been housed in an Old Time PCGS Green Label Holder. We believe it has been conservatively graded and would likely grade higher according to today's grading standards. A tough key variety coin that has been hard to come by in this grade level lately. A very neat coin to find in one of these old time holders.
The 1922 No D, Strong Reverse, Lincoln wheat cent is one of the most popular variety coins ever produced for the Lincoln wheat cent series. It holds a mintage of 7,160,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 15,000 have survived that are the No D variety! This coin is one of only 432 graded Fine 12 by PCGS.
