1918/7 D 5c Buffalo Head Nickel NGC G 6 Good to Very Good 1918/17-D

A 1918/7 D key variety buffalo head nickel graded G 6 by NGC. This coin holds a partial date but you can tell by the upper portion of the date it is indeed the over-date variety. A very original coin that has attractive surfaces for the grade. This is one of the most in demand varieties for the buffalo nickel series. The PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 7,000 of these have survived in all grades today. Of these survivors, this coin is one of only 255 that has been graded to be in 'Good' condition by NGC.
