A 1918/7 D key variety buffalo head nickel graded VG 8 by PCGS. This coin has a very strong over-date for only being a very good grade. It has completely original toned surfaces and we believe it could have graded a touch higher. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder and has been approved by CAC for quality.
The PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 7,000 of these have survived in all grades today. Of these survivors, this coin is one of only 263 graded Very Good 8 by PCGS. It is also one of only 30 approved by CAC for quality in this grade.
