A very attractive 1918/7 D key variety buffalo head nickel graded G 4 by PCGS. This coin has a decent over-date for only being a good grade. A very original coin that you can clearly see the over-date on unlike many examples in this grade. This is one of the most in demand variety coins for the buffalo head nickel series.
The PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 7,000 of these have survived in all grades today. Of these survivors, this coin is one of only 272 graded Good 4 by PCGS.
