A 1918/7 D key variety buffalo head nickel graded G 4 by ANACS. This coin has a decent over-date for only being a good grade. It holds more of a steel grey tone throughout both sides. A very original coin that you can clearly see the over-date on unlike many examples in this grade. The very close-up photos does not give justice to how strong the over-date on this one is.
The PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 7,000 of these have survived in all grades today.
