1917 25c Standing Liberty Quarter NGC AU 58 FH About Uncirculated Type Two TY 2

A very attractive 1917 type two, standing liberty quarter graded AU 58 FH by NGC. It carries a great strike throughout both sides with a fully defined head on the obverse. A very attractive and flashy coins that holds some light original toning. A much harder coin to come by than the type one for this year in this grade level. This date is among one of the most popular of the series as most collectors only purchase this series as a type coin and go with the 1917 as it is the first year of the type two series. This date holds a high mintage of 13,880,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,800 have survived today that still exist with a full head such as this one. This coin is one of only 102 graded About Uncirculated 58 Full Head by NGC.
