1917 S 1c Lincoln Wheat Cent NGC MS 64 RD Uncirculated Fully Red ! Old Holder

A tough 1917 S better date Lincoln wheat cent graded MS 64 RD by NGC. This San Francisco Mint coin is the only example we have ever offered as a red coin in all of our years of coin dealing. The obverse is fully red and the reverse is also fully red but has a dark red patina and a light red patina. A very seldom seen coin offered designated as a red coin. It has been housed in a pristine conditioned NGC Old time Fatty Older. This San Francisco Mint date has a massive mintage of 32,620,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 400 have survived with red surfaces such as this one. It is one of just 17 graded Mint State 64 Red by NGC.
