A beautiful 1917 D type two, standing liberty quarter graded AU 58 by ANACS. It carries a decent strike throughout both sides with very attractive lustrous and original surfaces. A very appealing coin that we believe could have easily ended up in a mint state holder.
This Denver Mint coin carries a high mintage of 6,224,400. However, of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 6,000 have survived in all grades today that are type two style!
