An attractive 1917 type one, standing liberty quarter graded MS 61 FH by ANACS. It carries a great strike throughout both sides with a fully defined head on the obverse. The mark you see near the head is on the holder and not on the coin. This coin has been stored in an older style small size 1980's ANACS holder. This date is among one of the most popular of the series as most collectors only purchase this series as a type coin and go with the 1917 due to the cost of the 1916. This date holds a high mintage of 8,740,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 9,000 have survived today that still exist with a full head such as this one.
