An attractive 1917 type one, standing liberty quarter graded MS 61 FH by ANACS. It holds a fantastic strike among both sides with some toning around the rims. This attractive coin has been housed in an old time 1980's style ANACS holder.
This date is very popular among collectors being the only year that is affordable for the type one series which was only minted in 1916 and 1917. It holds a large mintage of 8,740,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 9,000 have survived today with a full head such as this one.
