A 1916 D key date Mercury dime in graded XF 45 by PCGS. It holds exceptional details for the grade with a good deal of original mint luster remaining. The obverse carries very strong hair details while the reverse has full lines from the bottom to the top on the reverse. This key date coin has been very tough to carry in all grades lately. This is one of the nicest we have ever offered. This key date coin holds a low mintage of only 264,000. However, it is much scarcer than this mintage implies. The PCGS coin facts estimates that only 10,000 of these exist today in all grade levels. This coin is one of only 117 graded Extra Fine 45 by PCGS!
