A 1916 D key date Mercury dime graded VF 20 by PCGS. This key date coin carries decent details for the grade with a nice looking original patina. This has been one of the toughest coins for us to hold lately as they have been in strong demand among collectors. They have been extremely hard to come by in this grade level, especially approved by CAC in this grade level. The 1916 D Mercury dime is probably the most popular date to the entire series. This date holds a low mintage of only 264,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts have estimated that only 10,000 of these have survived in all grades today.
