A desirable 1916 D key date Mercury dime graded G 4 by PCGS. This key date coin carries strong detail for the grade. What makes this particular coin so unique is that it has some colorful toning as shown in the photos. However, please note, we believe the close-up photos provided by PCGS made the toning more severe than how it looks in person. Although the coin shows these colors, they are not as pronounced in our opinion. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. The 1916 D Mercury dime is probably the most popular date to the entire series. This date holds a low mintage of only 264,000. It is often the last coin purchased to complete a Mercury dime collection. This coin is one of only 1,807 graded Good 4 by PCGS.
