1916 D 10C Mercury Dime ANACS VG 8 Very Good Denver Mint Key Date Full Rims

A tough 1916 D Key Date Mercury dime graded VG 8 by ANACS. This key date coin carries nice full rims with an attractive original patina. It holds strong detail for the grade with a pleasing original patina that has some purple and blue on the reverse when tilted in this light. This appealing coin has been housed in an old time 1980's style Small Size ANACS Holder. The 1916 D Mercury dime is probably the most popular date to the entire series. This date holds a low mintage of only 264,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 10,000 have survived in all grades today.
