1915 D 5C Buffalo Head Nickel PCGS AU 53 About Uncirculated CAC Approved

A very attractive 1915 D better date buffalo head nickel graded AU 53 by PCGS. It carries a sharp strike throughout both sides with a fully defined horn on the reverse. It holds a light original tone throughout both sides. This attractive coin has been approved by CAC for quality. This Denver Mint date holds a mintage of 7,569,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 8,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 54 graded About Uncirculated 53 by PCGS. It is also one of only five approved by CAC for quality.
