A beautiful 1913 S type one, buffalo head nickel graded MS 65 by PCGS. It carries an above average strike throughout both sides with some attractive light original toning throughout both the obverse and reverse. A slightly better date to the series that is harder to come by in this grade level. This San Francisco Mint date holds a mintage of 2,105,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 10,000 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 421 graded Mint State 65 by PCGS.
