A beautiful 1913 type one, buffalo head nickel graded MS 66 by PCGS. It carries a good strike throughout both sides with some very attractive golden hued toning throughout both sides. This attractive coin is very popular among U.S type collectors being the first of the buffalo nickel series. It has been approved by CAC for quality.
This date carries a huge mintage of 30,992,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 75,000 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 2,248 graded Mint State 66 by PCGS. It is also one of only 332 approved by CAC in this grade level.
