A sharply struck 1909 S VDB key date Lincoln Wheat Cent graded XF 40 by NGC. It carries excellent detail for the grade with some circulation chatter throughout both sides. It holds a very strong date, clear S Mint-mark and an easily readable V.D.B on the reverse. This key date has been by far our best seller and has continued to be in strong demand among collectors. The 1909 S VDB Lincoln Wheat Cent is arguably one of the most desirable coins ever minted by the United States Mint. It carries a low mintage of only 484,000.
