1909 S VDB 1c Lincoln Wheat Cent NGC G 6 Good to Very Good Key Date US Coin

A 1909 S VDB key date Lincoln wheat cent graded G 6 by NGC. It carries decent details throughout both sides for the grade with attractive original chocolate brown surfaces. This coin has a readable date, S mint-mark, and part of the VDB visible on the reverse. As you can see from the photos provided, due to this coin being a lower grade coin it is not easy to make out the 'vdb'. The 1909 S VDB Lincoln wheat cent is arguably one of the most desirable coins ever minted by the United States Mint. It carries a low mintage of only 484,000 and is known to be the true key to the entire Lincoln wheat cent series.
