1909 S VDB 1c Lincoln Wheat Cent NGC F 15 Fine to Very Fine CAC Approved !

A very attractive 1909 S VDB key date Lincoln wheat cent graded F 15 by NGC. It carries very strong details for the grade with very attractive chocolate brown original surfaces. It has really nice original surfaces with strong detail for the grade. It holds a very strong date, clear S Mint-mark and bold V.D.B on the reverse. This appealing coin has been approved by CAC for quality. The 1909 S VDB Lincoln wheat cent is arguably one of the most desirable coins ever minted by the United States Mint. It carries a low mintage of only 484,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 50,000 of these exist today that are brown such as this circulated example. Of this number this coin is one of only 1,598 graded to be in 'Fine' condition by NGC.
