This 1909 S VDB key date Lincoln wheat cent has a decent strike with strong very fine to extra fine detail.. It has strong jaw-line separation on the obverse with almost fully defined wheat stalks on the reverse. It has a clear date, strong S min-mark, and readable VDB on the reverse. The 'VDB' is slightly weakly struck but is easily visible with the naked eye.

The 1909 S VDB Lincoln wheat cent is the key date to the series with a mintage of only 484,000. It is arguably one of the most desirable coins ever minted by the United States Mint. From the novice to the seasoned collector, most know of this very desirable and sought after coin.
