1909 S VDB 1C Lincoln Wheat Cent PCGS VF 30 Very Fine to Extra Fine Key Date

A very attractive 1909 S VDB key date Lincoln Wheat Cent graded VF 30 by PCGS. It holds a very strong date, clear S mint mark and bold easily readable V.D.B on the reverse. This key date coin has been in strong demand among collectors and is by far our best seller. It has perfect original surfaces with a light 'wood grain' tone throughout part of the obverse. The 1909 S VDB Lincoln Wheat Cent is arguably one of the most desirable coins ever minted by the United States Mint. It carries a low mintage of only 484,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 50,000 of these exist today that are brown such as this circulated example. It is one of only 1160 graded Very Fine 30 by PCGS.
