A 1909 S VDB key date Lincoln wheat cent graded VF 20 by PCGS. A very neat key date coin to find housed in an old time PCGS green label holder. It carries decent details for the grade with original toned surfaces. This coin looks nicer than the deemed grade from PCGS. It holds a very clear S Mint-mark and V.D.B on the reverse. This key date coin has been one of the toughest coins for us to keep in inventory lately as they have been in strong demand. The 1909 S VDB Lincoln wheat cent is arguably one of the most desirable coins ever minted by the United States Mint. It carries a low mintage of only 484,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 50,000 of these exist today that are brown such as this circulated example. Of this number this coin is one of only 990 graded Very Fine 20 by PCGS.
