A 1909 S VDB key date Lincoln wheat cent graded F 12 by ANACS. It carries decent details for the grade with original toned surfaces. It holds a very strong date, S Mint-mark, and 'VDB' on the reverse. A very attractive coin with nice original surfaces throughout both sides. It looks like it could have easily graded slightly better. This has been one of the most popular sellers for us lately. The 1909 S VDB Lincoln wheat cent is arguably one of the most desirable coins ever minted by the United States Mint. It carries a low mintage of only 484,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 50,000 of these exist today that are brown such as this circulated example.
