1909 S VDB 1C Lincoln Wheat Cent ICG F 12 Fine San Francisco Mint Key Date Original

A very attractive 1909 S VDB key date Lincoln Wheat Cent graded F 12 by ICG. It carries excellent detail for the grade with a full very fine grade reverse. It has a nice appealing light chocolate brown patina. It holds a very strong date, clear S Mint-mark and an bold easy to read V.D.B on the reverse. This key date has been by far our best seller and has continued to be in strong demand among collectors. The 1909 S VDB Lincoln Wheat Cent is arguably one of the most desirable coins ever minted by the United States Mint. It carries a low mintage of only 484,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 50,000 of these exist today that are brown such as this circulated example.
