It holds a very strong date, clear S Mint-mark and an easily readable V.D.B on the reverse. This key date has been by far our best seller and has continued to be in strong demand among collectors. The 1909 S VDB Lincoln Wheat Cent is arguably one of the most desirable coins ever minted by the United States Mint. It carries a low mintage of only 484,000.
