1909 S/S 1C Lincoln Wheat Cent PCGS VF 35 Very Fine to Extra Fine CAC Approved

A 1909 S/S key date Lincoln wheat cent graded VF 35 by PCGS. It carries decent details for the grade with very attractive chocolate brown original surfaces. The patina of this coin is most accurately shown in the certified photos we have provided. We are not sure what caused the off-looking coloration in the close-up photos. This attractive coin has been approved by CAC for quality. This key date coin holds a large mintage of 1,825,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that of this large mintage only 100,000 have survived that are the S over Horizontal S variety such as this coin. It is one of only 38 graded Very Fine 35 by PCGS and is one of only two approved by CAC in this grade level.
