1909 S 1c Indian Head Cent NGC VF 20 Very Fine Key Date Looks Better Cert#6012

A very attractive 1909 S key date Indian head cent graded VF 20 by NGC. It carries decent excellent details for the grade with a fully readable liberty on the obverse and nice details on the reverse. We believe this coin would grade higher if it were sent back in to NGC for grading. This key date coin carries a very attractive patina throughout both sides. This key date coin holds a very low mintage of only 309,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 3,000 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 1,207 graded in the Very Fine grade level by NGC.
