1909 1C Indian Head Cent PCGS MS 64 RD Uncirculated Fully Red Last Year of Series

A very attractive 1909 Indian head cent graded MS 64 RD by PCGS. This coin carries a great strike throughout both sides with all four diamonds struck sharply. Unlike many other coins in this grade, this coin is completely full red throughout both the obverse and reverse. A very popular date among collectors as this one was minted during the last year of the Indian head cent series. This date carries a massive mintage of 14,368,740. However, of this extremely large mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 3,500 still exist in red condition such as this one. It is one of only 1,050 graded Mint State 64 Red by PCGS.
