1908 S 25C Barber Quarter PCGS AU 50 About Uncirculated San Francisco Better Date

A tough 1908 S better date barber quarter graded AU 50 by PCGS. It holds a decent strike with a good deal of original mint luster remaining throughout both sides. It carries a very light tone throughout both the obverse and reverse. This San Francisco Mint coin is tougher to come by in extra fine or better condition such as this one. This date holds a mintage of only 784,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 2,500 have survived in all grades today. It is on of only six graded About Uncirculated 50 by PCGS.
