A 1908 S key date Indian head cent graded MS 63 BN by NGC. It carries decent details for the grade with an attractive dark original brown patina. Although this coin has a mintage of 1,115,000, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 3,000 of these exist that are brown today such as this example. Of this tiny portion of the remaining mintage, they estimate that only 300 of these exist that are in MS 60 or better brown condition such as this one. This coin is one of only 180 graded MS 63 BN by PCGS.
