1907 S 50c Barber Half Dollar NGC MS 62 Uncirculated Tough Date Lustrous Beauty !

A tough 1907 S better date barber half dollar graded MS 62 by NGC. The 1907 S barber half dollar is among one of the toughest to find in mint state condition. This coin carries an incredible strike throughout both sides with some very lightly golden toned surfaces on the obverse and a mostly white reverse. It is exceptional for the grade and looks like it could potentially grade higher. The 1907 S barber half dollar holds a mintage of 1,250,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 2,500 have survived in all grades today! Of this small fraction remaining, they estimate that only 200 have survived in Mint State 60 or better condition such as this example. At the time of this listing, the NGC population report shows this coin being one of only seven graded Mint State 62 by NGC with only 22 coins graded higher by NGC!
