A very attractive 1902 S better date silver Morgan dollar graded AU 53 by PCGS. It carries a good strike throughout both sides with lustrous and attractive surfaces. It holds a light hue of toning that matches evenly throughout both the obverse and reverse. This San Francisco Mint date has been very tough to find lately in this About Uncirculated grade level.
This coin holds a fairly high mintage of 1,530,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 10% (153,000) have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 209 graded About Uncirculated 53 by PCGS.
