An attractive 1901 common date Indian head cent graded MS 63 RB by NGC. It carries a decent strike with a lot of red showing throughout both sides. This date is one of the most common and most affordable dates to the entire Indian head cent series. This date carries a huge mintage of 79,609,158. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1000 have survived to be in red brown condition such as this one. It is one of only 254 graded Mint State 63 Red Brown by NGC.
