1900 1C Indian Head Cent PCGS MS 65 RD Uncirculated Full Red Old Holder

A 1900 Indian head cent graded MS 65 RD by PCGS. This date is very common for the Indian head cent series. However, it is much harder to come by in this Mint State 65 Red condition deemed by PCGS. It has very attractive original surfaces that hold a nice matching patina throughout both sides. Although this date holds a huge mintage of 66,831,502, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,000 of them have survived today with red surfaces such as this example! Of this tiny fraction remaining, they estimate that only 450 still have survived in Mint State 65 Red or higher condition such as this one. This coin is one of only 189 graded MS 65 Red by PCGS.
