1898 $1 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS 66 Uncirculated Exceptional Quality ! Sharp

An exceptional 1898 silver Morgan dollar graded MS 66 by PCGS. This coin carries a far above average strike with extremely mark free surfaces for a mint state 66 graded example. It is mostly blast white throughout both sides with just a light touch of toning on the obverse near the rims that is barely visible. A fairly common date to the series that is much harder to come by in this grade or finer condition. This Philadelphia Mint coin holds a mintage of 5,884,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 588,000 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 861 graded Mint State 66 by PCGS.
