An absolutely beautiful 1897 O better date barber quarter graded VG 10 by PCGS. It holds perfect original surfaces with strong full rims and great detail for the grade. We would deem this coin 'The Poster Child' for a VG 10 barber quarter. Just an absolutely perfect coin for the grade. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder.
This New Orleans mint date has a total mintage of 1,414,800. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 2,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of just 17 graded Very Good 10 by PCGS.
