An absolutely beautiful 1896 S key date silver Barber dime graded MS 63 by PCGS. It holds an exceptional strike throughout both sides with very lightly toned and original surfaces. This San Francisco Mint date is very seldom offered in this grade level, especially being as original as this one. It has been sent in for grading only once and has never been sent into CAC. This San Francisco Mint date holds a lower mintage of only 575,056. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 1,500 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 200 that PCGS estimates has survived in Mint State 60 or higher condition. This coin is one of only 12 graded Mint State 63 by PCGS.
