An 1896 O better date silver Morgan dollar graded AU 58 by NGC. It holds a strong strike with a very light hue of yellow toning among each side. This New Orleans Mint date is slightly harder to come by in this grade and has been in strong demand among collectors.
This New Orleans Mint date has a total mitnage of 4,900,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 490,000 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 1,873 graded About Uncirculated 58 by NGC.
