An 1896 O better date silver Morgan dollar graded AU 55 by NGC. It carries a great strike throughout both sides with very attractive crusty original toned surfaces. This New Orleans Mint coin is very mark free for the grade and completely original.
This coin holds a mintage of 4,900,000. However, of this mintage the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 490,000 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 1,425 graded About Uncirculated 55 by NGC.
