An 1895 S key date silver Morgan dollar graded VF 30 by PCGS. This key date coin carries very sharp details for the grade and we believe it could have graded five points higher from NGC. However, we believe they may have 'netted' the grade due to the slightly uneven toning pattern. A tough San Francisco Mint date to find lately in this grade level. This key date coin holds a very low mintage of only 400,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 24,887 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of only 265 graded Very Fine 25 by PCGS.
