A tough 1894 key date silver Morgan dollar graded AU 53 by NGC. It has a decent strike with a light yellow hue of toning that flows entirely throughout both sides. This key date coin has been gobbled up lately among the masses of collectors to the market and it has been hard to find these in this mid-grade level.
This key date coin holds one of the lowest mintage of the entire series of only 110,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 8,990 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 288 graded About Uncirculated 53 by NGC.
