1894 $1 Morgan Dollar Philadelphia P Mint PCGS XF 40 Extra Fine Key Date Tough !

A tough 1894 key date Morgan dollar graded XF 45 by PCGS. It carries strong detail for the grade and looks like it could have easily graded a touch higher. This date is very under-rated in our recommendation and under-valued. It has nearly the same mintage of the 1893 S but is just a fraction of the price. This coin has been much harder to find lately than in previous years as we believe most have been scooped up off the market. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. This Philadelphia mint date has a total mintage of 110,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 8,990 have survived in all grades today. It is one of just 515 graded Extra Fine 40 by PCGS.
