A tough 1894 key date, silver Morgan dollar graded VG 8 by ANACS. It holds strong full rims with a lot of detail for only a very good grade. It also has very evenly toned original and attractive surfaces. This key date coin has been in strong demand lately among collectors and has become much harder to find than in previous years.
This date holds the second lowest business strike mintage of the entire silver Morgan dollar series of only 110,000. However, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 8,990 of these have survived today.
