A tough 1893 S key date silver Morgan Dollar graded VG 8 by NGC. It holds strong full rims throughout both sides with a touch of toning. This date holds the lowest of the entire Morgan dollar series and has been extremely difficult to find lately in this very good grade level. It has been housed in a newer style NGC holder.
The 1893 S Morgan dollar is the key to the entire series with the lowest business strike mintage of only 100,000. However, of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 9,948 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 374 graded Very Good 8 by NGC.
