1893 S $1 Morgan Dollar NGC G 6 Good to Very Good Key Date CAC Approved

A desirable 1893 S key date Morgan Dollar graded G 6 by NGC and has been approved by CAC for quality. This key date coin has been very difficult to find in 'affordable' grade levels such as this one. It holds strong rims throughout both sides with a matching patina on both the obverse and reverse. A very original and attractive coin that has well earned it's sticker of approval from CAC.

The 1893 S Morgan dollar is the key to the entire series with the lowest business strike mintage of only 100,000. However, of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 9,948 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 765 graded to be in Good condition by NGC. It is also one of only 56 approved by CAC for quality in this grade.
