A tough 1893 S key date Morgan Dollar graded VF 25 by PCGS. This key date coin has been extremely difficult to find lately in this very fine to extra fine grade range. It holds strong details for the grade with a mostly matching patina among both sides. It has been housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder. The 1893 S Morgan dollar is the key to the entire series with the lowest business strike mintage of only 100,000. However, of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 9,948 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 427 graded Very Fine 25 by PCGS.
