A beautiful 1893 CC silver Morgan dollar graded MS 62 PL by PCGS. This absolutely beautiful coin carries very mark free surfaces with lustrous attractive blast white surfaces throughout both sides. This coin is superior for the grade and we believe would have a shot at grading higher according to today's grading standards.
It is stored in an older style PCGS green label 'gasket' style holder that came out from PCGS in 1989. This coin was graded over 30 years ago. A very attractive example that is seldom offered with proof like surfaces such as this attractive beauty.
The 1893 CC silver Morgan dollar holds a mintage of 677,000. However, this PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 48,000 of these exist in all grades today. At the time of this listing, the PCGS population report shows that only 62 coins have been graded MS 62 PL such as this one.
